At CrossPoint we make disciples of Jesus by Loving God, Loving One Another, and Loving Our Neighbor.
“Love the Lord your God.” Luke 10:27
We were made to love God, but each of us struggles to do so. At CrossPoint, we want to show you what it looks like to love God by providing you with the truth about God, how much He loves you, and how you can love Him in return.
Love One Another
“Keep loving one another earnestly.” 1 Peter 4:8
Life is hard, and we want to make it less hard. Our mission at CrossPoint is to provide you with people that know who you are and love you, because life is less hard when you are known and loved by people that support you.
Love Our Neighbor
“Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:39
All around us are people that need to experience and know the love of Jesus. Together, we will be the loving presence that we want to see in our neighborhoods, our cities, our state, and our world.
“Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23
After years of prayer and counsel, Jeremy and Heather Ritzema moved to Sauk Rapids in September of 2018 to see a church planted in the St. Cloud area. They began getting to know people in the community to learn more about the Greater St. Cloud area and the unique strengths and needs of the region. In a couple of months, a small team of people joined Jeremy and Heather to form CrossPoint Church of Minnesota.
CrossPoint began meeting in Jeremy and Heather’s home until there was a need for more space to accommodate the growing congregation. In August of 2019, CrossPoint moved into the Harvest Fellowship Pre-School building where they continued to grow slowly. By 2020 we believe that CrossPoint will make another move to accommodate a growing congregation and allow for a Sunday morning worship service.
We make disciples of Jesus by Loving God, Loving one Another, and Loving our Neighbor.

”For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. James 2:13We point to Mercy.

Pastor Jeremy Ritzema grew up in a Christian family that encouraged him to love God and love others by devoting himself to the local church and equipping others. Even his first-grade teacher commented that Jeremy had a gift for speaking in front of others and displayed a genuine excitement for the Bible.
After a decade in education, God made it clear to Jeremy and those around him that he was called to pastoral ministry. He spent six years serving as a youth pastor before he and his family moved to the St. Cloud area to plant CrossPoint Church of Minnesota.
Jeremy holds a B.A. in History Education and an M.A. in Biblical Studies and is passionate about teaching others the truth about God and His love for His creation.
